This almost could be a negative because it meant the end of Kevin Owens reign, but it was good to see Dean Ambrose finally win singles gold (post-Shield) with the Intercontinental Championship. Ambrose has been toiling away for more than a year since the Shield broke up, lost in no mans land between the Authoritys chosen one, Seth Rollins, and the companys future face, Roman Reigns. Ambrose has been the fans organic choice, which means that hes spent the past year bouncing from feud to feud without really getting his true moment in the sun. But at TLC, Ambrose finally got that moment, as he toppled Owens in a pretty good, fast-paced match. Owens is probably one of the better heels out there right now, and we can armchair quarterback taking the IC title off of him at this time, but its not like they put it on King Barrett or Dolph Ziggler (two IC champs who lost a lot of non-title bouts). Hopefully, Ambrose can actually go on to have some good, high-profile matches with the title. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IY1rkE0xol0 And hopefully Owens doesnt end up lost in the shuffle, though that seems to be WWEs M.O. these days.
