How? How is it that WWE can royally suck at booking feuds up and down the card for months on end, and then suddenly do everything right when it comes to turning up the volume on a Triple H/Roman Reigns rivalry? Within the same segment of the PPV, we saw Roman go from competing in a match where fans were so disinterested that they chanted for CM Punk, to the fans openly cheering for Reigns as he mercilessly beat down Hunter. After losing yet another championship match, Reigns snapped and single-handedly decimated the League of Nations, beating Sheamus into silly putty. The Authority (and a hoard of referees) ran out to stop him, but once Triple H got into the ring, everything changed. Reigns Superman punched the Game and began destroying him with a chair, then put him through the Spanish announce table. Finally, he changed course from leaving the arena, running all the way back to ringside to spear Triple H. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MbrSC7Q-FGk All the while, fans grew louder in their support of Reigns. Maybe all the losses hes suffered because of screwy circumstances actually have worked to rally fans behind him. Maybe he isnt Lex Luger 2.0 after all. Or maybe its just proof that WWE can make feuds works when they really put their minds to it.
