4. Babyfaces Finally Stick Up For Each Other
Throughout the Authoritys reign of terror, the common theme has been the numbers game overwhelming the good guys. Whether its Randy Orton, Seth Rollins, Big Show, Kane, J&J Security or Triple H himself, there have almost always been more members of the Authority in the ring than babyfaces even if you know that there are more good guys in the back. And that has been a logic lapse for a while now. Last week, it was Rusev beating up Erick Rowan right after John Cena gave him a pep talk, and then Cena did nothing during the beatdown. Monday, Rollins, Noble and Mercury mugged Ryback in the ring and no one came out to his defense. That changed in the 5-on-2 main event, when Ryback, Dolph Ziggler and Rowan emerged to take on Rollins, Kane and Show, leaving Mercury and Noble to take the fall. For once, the good guys watched each others back, and it worked. Yes, that cant always happen for storytelling purposes, but once in a while, the faces need to show they have working brains.
