3. Maybe Possibly Get Into The Title Hunt Down The Line
This is really hard to hate because it means that two wrestlers who deserve a serious push are finally getting screen time, but the Total Divas-esque storyline of Naomi and Natalya trying to bring their feuding husbands together is one of the worst ways to further a WWE Tag Team Championship angle. On one side, you have the Usos, the 2014 Slammy winners for tag team of the year and current tag champs. On the other side, you have Tyson Kidd and Cesaro, two guys who have been overlooked and passed over for a lot of their WWE careers. They finally have struck up a serious and winning combination as a tag team and are out to prove that they are the best wrestlers in the ring. Throw in a couple encounters and youve got a great feud. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DrP-JQka3Z0 Instead, we got the wonderful non-title tag match Monday, which Michael Cole helpfully explained that, Rumor has it that a victory by Cesaro and Kidd would put them in line for a tag title shot. The match itself was solid, but the whole feuding couples and beat the champs to earn a title shot down the line stuff is insulting to fans. We dont need a poorly acted restaurant skit. Give fans a reason to care and a doomed dinner date isnt it.
