Randy Savage was one of the few men whose charisma could match the Warrior but he could also do his rival one better and consistently deliver in the ring. The Macho Man was widely known as perfectionist when it came to planning matches with his opponents and there are countless stories of him rehearsing those encounters again and again before big events. This was likely a perfect recipe for success given Warrior's limited in-ring skill and shallow move set.
