1. Carmella And (Her Fella) Reach New Heights
Firstly: will this match be the show's main event? At least three bouts on the card have decent claims to close the show, but I'm putting the money in my bank on it being the first ever women's MITB ladder match. WWE probably aren't keen to end a second SmackDown PPV in a row with Jinder-Orton, and the 'historic' nature of the women's five-way briefcase battle makes it the other notable candidate for the spot. The precedent was set at Hell in a Cell, and though there is no title on the line here, the prestige of MITB is enough to warrant top billing.
As for the match itself, Money in the Bank has traditionally been snagged by whichever wrestler WWE feels is most in need of a push, and here that's unquestionably Carmella. Charlotte, Becky Lynch, and Natalya are all leading lights in the division already, and Tamina is a little bit terrible (not to mention undeveloped since her latest return).
That leaves the 'Princess of Staten Island' as the clear favourite. Expect her to bag the briefcase with assistance from James Ellsworth. Will this 'historic' contest descend into farcical comedy thanks to Carmella's beau though? Sadly, the answer is 'probably'.
