7 Angles For Samoa Joe's WWE Debut

6. Wyatt's New Weapon

It's no secret that Bray Wyatt should have achieved so much more during his time as the 'Eater of Worlds'. His gimmick was built to shine in contrast with the colourful, kid-friendly characters of the modern day WWE, but has instead found itself watered down by damaging big-stage losses and uninspiring creative ideas (especially that bizarre hologram during the Ambrose/Rollins cell match). The benefits of aligning Joe and Wyatt are twofold. In unveiling the Samoan as his new secret weapon, the demonic Bray would receive a much-needed boost of relevance and originality. Similarly, Joe would benefit from an elevated introduction to the WWE, skipping the usual lowercard feuds and plucky losses bestowed upon most debutants. A wrestler of his experience, ability, and uniqueness deserves an immediately alignment with a figure of Wyatt's standing, and would certainly be able to make the most of a dark gimmick thanks to his menacing look and potentially fearsome persona.
