One benefit of Cena's current US Championship reign is the fact that it allows lesser-known names the chance to share the spotlight with one of the biggest stars in wrestling history (as recently seen with Sami Zayn on the latest episode of Raw). However, were Joe to use this as a way of making his debut, limiting himself to a hard-fought babyface loss would be a disaster. Instead, the Samoan would have to go over heavily, beating Cena down and leaving him laying in a pool of his own blood - or at least comprehensively beaten. Argument rages over the manner in which Cena should be used in the current WWE landscape, but nobody would seriously argue that a big loss would do any lasting damage to his gargantuan legacy. Instead, the promotion would do well to use his stature to give Joe an explosive start, capturing the US title and going on a heelish reign of terror to build his profile.
