7 Big Talking Points For Daniel Bryan Wrestling In 2018

1. The Fans' Dilemma

Daniel Bryan
WWE

Q!ABryan's health is an extremely divisive issue among wrestling fans. While many would have no problem watching him compete again (provided he was given medical clearance), others want nothing to do with his return. They don't want to watch a man with serious concussion issues put himself at risk again, and they'd actively avoid his matches.

Neither stance is inherently right or wrong. Though worthy of debate, it's a matter of personal choice, and neither side has grounds to tell the other what to do, say, or think.

If Bryan is given full medical clearance by his doctors (IE: the only people qualified to give a "yes" or "no"), then there's nothing ghoulish or immoral about watching him compete. The risks will have been assessed extensively, and an informed, authoritative decision will be made. This should be enough to clear most people's moral quandary, and allow them to enjoy the matches.

But this won't be the case for everybody, and that's absolutely fine. If somebody doesn't want to watch Bryan wrestle because they're worried for his health, then no one has any right to tell them they're wrong, because it's their choice - nobody else's.

This discussion will continue for as long as Bryan wrestling again remains a possibility. It's ultimately a matter of preference, and neither side should be chastised.
