7 Big Things Shane McMahon Could Do To Shake Up WWE

5. Reform The Nexus

After Shane McMahon takes over Monday Night Raw, he could lay down a bombshell €œWell, I haven€™t exactly always been gone€€ footage then airs of The Nexus beating up Vince McMahon (which was never really resolved) from 2010. Shane announces it was him behind the attack. He was so upset from being looked over for succession that he did something drastic. He now regrets that action (keeping himself babyface), but he wanted to get that off his chest. Wade Barrett, Ryback, Darren Young, Heath Slater, and David Otunga come out and claim that Shane still owes them something for taking care of his business years ago. Shane tells them it's in the past, and they€™ve already been paid off. They disagree. They put a beat down on their new boss, and once again become a dangerous heel faction (plus, it breaks up the awful League of Nations and The Social Outcasts, and maybe gives Barrett a reason to stick around). The following weeks the stable brings in former member Curtis Axel (or not), and recruits some NXT guys to fill out the ranks. Baron Corbin could be the muscle, Austin Aries or Samoa Joe as the surprising veteran, and Chad Gable and Jason Jordan as the threat to the tag titles. Shane could tie up some other loose ends by taking credit as the actual Anonymous General Manager of Raw, making Hornswoggle take the fall for him. He€™ll also explain he was the one who attacked Natalya a few months ago on SmackDown, and that he was actually Vince McMahon€™s illegitimate son and not Hornswoggle! Okay...probably not those last two. Well, besides everything else, no one in the old Nexus really has anything better going for themselves right now than re-form, besides that former Husky Harris guy.

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
