7 Biggest Missed Opportunities From WWE Elimination Chamber 2019

3. Braun Strowman’s Loss

WWE Elimination Chamber 2019 Braun Strowman Baron Corbin
WWE

Remember how the McMahons promised us a fresh and exciting new era for WWE? Yeah, well, Braun Strowman would likely beg to differ.

In case you hadn't heard 'The Monster Among Men' lost to Baron Corbin at Elimination Chamber. That's right, the man that WWE has positioned as a more than credible threat to Brock Lesnar's Universal Title reign on multiple occasions just lost to one of the least credible superstars on the roster.

Corbin hasn't done anything of significance in years, and still dresses like he's in a position of power, and yet he somehow managed to topple Strowman. Sure, he had help from Drew McIntyre and Bobby Lashley and it was a no disqualification match and he managed to stun him on more than one occasion and so forth, but it still doesn't change the fact that Braun Strowman was pinned by Baron freakin' Corbin. There are a myriad of ways you can look at it, and you'll still find yourself completely baffled by the booking here.

As painful as it has been, Strowman's feud with Corbin was supposed to be nothing more than a transitional feud that ended with 'The Monster Among Men' squashing his adversary in a matter of minutes. Instead, we have this inexplicable image immortalized in history with, we shudder to think, the feud likely set to continue.
