Before he became ‘The Villain’, Marty Scurll went by the in-ring Party Marty and enjoyed moderate success on the UK Indie circuit. His career looked to be on the up however when he was selected for Season 1 of British Boot Camp.

Despite losing to Rockstar Spud in Boot Camp, TNA expressed an interest in signing him. This interest swiftly subsided though after Scurll picked up an injury during his first live Impact Wrestling match, when attempting a suicide dive on Jessie Godderz. After returning from injury, Scurll became a two-time Progress Wrestling World Champion, before heading abroad to win the IWGP Junior Heavyweight and the ROH World Television Championships.

Now as the chief booker for ROH and one of the main binding components between his parent company and NWA, Scurll hasn’t looked back since his Impact dismissal.
