7 ECW Stars That Failed In WWE

1. The Blue Meanie (1998-1999, 2005)

WWE.comWWE.comThe Blue Meanie, Brian Heffron, loves wrestling. After making a name for himself as part of the bWo (Blue World Order) in ECW, he was a surprising member of the WWF roster joining the company in December 1998. He mostly teamed with members of so-called J.O.B. Squad (Pin Me! Pay Me!) - Al Snow, Gillberg (Duane Gill), Scorpio and Bob Holly. They rarely performed on Raw as most of their battles on syndicated shows such as Shotgun Saturday NIght and Jakked alongside USA's Sunday Night Heat. After a short run as "Blue Dust" and teaming with Goldust, Meanie left WWF in October 1999. With the ECW resurrection for One Night Stand, he was involved in the show's rumctous brawl between ECW and WWE performers. After being allegedly roughed up quite a bit by JBL, his threat of legitimate legal action seemed to have spurred WWE to make him a contract offer which successful ended talk of lawsuits. In fact, Meanie's first televised match back in the WWE was a no DQ bout against John Bradshaw Layfield (with Nova & Stevie Richards in his corner) which the Blue Meanie won (with a little additional help from World Heavyweight Champion Batista). The bWo revival was exceptionally short-lived as the trio of performers lost on Smackdown to the Mexicools in the end of July and soon after, the Blue Meanie was no longer working for WWE.
