7 Forgotten WWE Appearances By AEW Stars
3. Prince Nana
In 2025, Prince Nana is best known for being the sidekick of former AEW Champion Swerve Strickland, but back in the early 2000s, he was active in in-ring competition. This included a short stint in Ring Of Honor and an even shorter run on WWE TV, suffering a handful of short and sweet defeats.
Impressively, one of his two matches on WWE Jakked took place in Madison Square Garden, where Nana tasted defeat to Crash Holly in just over four minutes. Being born in Brooklyn, this is an insane achievement, with his other match on Jakked involving him being tapped out by 'The Lethal Weapon' Steve Blackman in another one of New York's most famous arenas, Nassau Coliseum.
While neither encounter is going to bother the record books, his MSG match with Crash Holly is worth watching, if only to hear Howard Finkel announce Nana's name in typically hammed-up fashion. Nana hasn't wrestled since 2019, where he was defeated as part of The Embassy by Icarus, Tony Deppen, and Travis Huckabee's FIST faction.
