7 Giant Lies Told By Wrestling That Will Definitely Kill You

6. Beating Up Your Boss Doesn't Kill Your Career

This is a bit of a strange one, because it doesn't mean "kill" in a literal sense. In other words, nobody is dying here, but their career might be.

Imagine walking into your workplace, knocking on the office door and then putting your boss in a painful Ankle Lock. Then, imagine embarrassing them in front of over 78,000 people in a stadium and millions more watching around the world. After all that, picture strolling into work the next day without any consequences for your actions.

Though that would never happen, it does with alarming regularity in WWE. The most recent example was Kurt Angle's insubordination at WrestleMania 34.

Kurt put Steph (y'know, the woman he answers to) in a potentially bone-breaking submission hold, and he had an absolute blast doing it. Stephanie's response? Shave Baron Corbin's head and install him as a "Constable" who's there to make sure Angle stays in line.
