WWE's tag-team scene in 2010 was a bit all over the place. Aside from The Hart Dynasty and the emerging Nexus, there wasn't much to shout about. Meanwhile over in TNA, both Beer Money and the Motor City Machine Guns were weaving old-school tag magic in a five match series.

Kicking off in July, the series culminated in August with a Two-Out-Of-Three Falls Match. Others the quartet worked included Ladder, Street Fight, Steel Cage and Ultimate X Matches. It was a breathless romp through everything good about both teams.

The ending, a 3-2 win for Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley, portrayed them as the best tag-team in the world. It was a stellar piece of work by all concerned, and that includes the commentary team; Mike Tenay and Taz were on fire during the finale.

Nobody can blame them for that. Forget the antics of Triple X and America's Most Wanted for a second, because this was TNA's best tag-team work.
