No matter your opinion towards Impact Wrestling as a company overall, you can't say anything bad about the X division, particularly when they're promoting matches like Willie Mack vs. Chris Bey. You could easily go as far to say that the current crop of X division stars are close to or equal to the quality of the likes of AJ Styles, Christopher Daniels, and Samoa Joe back in the day.

'Chocolate Thunder's' reign thus far has been a bit iffy if we're being honest. The matches have always been superb, as are his non-title matches also, with his opponents always getting a chance to shine profusely. Despite that, the reign hasn't offered anything too memorable thus far, which is a real shame considering his win of the title from Ace Austin at Rebellion was one of the more exciting bouts of the two-part special.

Mack vs. Bey will undoubtedly be that exact same fact - a decent title match, but nothing more. There is a slight story coming into this one, with Johnny Swinger being banned then unbanned from ringside by referee Brandon Tolle, only for Bey to essentially confess to backstage reporter Gia Miller that he had been using 'The Swing Man' this whole time. He could still play a factor in this one, but don't expect to see much more of The Finesse and Bench Press Express.

Winner: Chris Bey
