7 Improvements WWE Network Needs To Make
4. The Complete WCW
While the primary content from the WWE and ECW collections are mostly complete, there's a huge amount of the WCW archive that remains completely untouched.
WWE recently announced that WCW Thunder would finally be making its way to the Network in the near future, which is great news for fans of the Monday Night Wars. However, while the Thunder content is a huge step in the right direction, it's a drop in the ocean compared to the sea of matches from the WCW Saturday Night archive.
Saturday Night was the longest running programme in WCW history and the flagship show of weekly TV prior to Nitro. With classic bouts like the infamous Cactus Jack/Vader brawls, Ric Flair vs. Ricky Steamboat for the vacant WCW Title, and hidden gems like Steve Austin vs. Randy Savage, it's a veritable goldmine of classic content.
Notwithstanding shows like WCW Pro, Worldwide, Power Hour, and Main Event, there are also a handful of WCW PPVs missing from the Network as well, including the highly acclaimed Japan Supershows, the huge Collision in Korea event and the Millennium Final PPV. Meanwhile, WCW also had several great VHS releases that would translate well to the Network today, particularly the Superstar Series which focused on individual WCW icons.
