7 Major Questions Surrounding Roman Reigns’ WWE Suspension
2. Don’t They Cover Up The Major Violations?
Tin foil hats at the ready again, it’s time
to theorise some conspiracies.
One of the criticisms levelled at the WWE’s wellness policy has been that it only ever seems to be reprimand the lower card guys. Two of the company’s most recent suspensions were handed to Konnor and Adam Rose—who have a grand total of zero main roster titles between them. Other victims of the wellness policy include Hornswoggle and Ricardo Rodriguez—hardly a pair of household names.
It could all be coincidence, of course. And perhaps the guys at the bottom of the card have more of a reason to look to get ahead.
But regardless of your underlying thoughts on this one, it’s difficult to argue that this isn’t categorical proof of the wellness policy’s legitimacy. Other than John Cena, Reigns is just about the last person they’d want to hand a suspension to.
Unless I’ve just worked a work so hard that I’ve worked myself into a shoot. Brother.
