There is every chance that Asuka will dethrone Alexa Bliss for the RAW Women’s Championship before Elimination Chamber, but let's go ahead and prognosticate that the Wicked Witch of WWE will somehow make it to Paradise with the belt intact. The time has come for Bliss to be dethroned, and the Empress of Tomorrow is clearly next in line.

Asuka is one of the favourites to win the inaugural Women’s Royal Rumble, but I feel that the 30-woman extravaganza could provide a useful way to slow her down somewhat. Bliss could easily interfere in order to cost Asuka the match, furthering the idea that the champ has no desire to face the undefeated Japanese star.

Bliss can’t dodge Asuka forever. Alexa’s long title reign will come to an end at WWE Elimination Chamber 2018, when she taps out to the Asuka Lock clean in the middle of the ring. The Empress of Tomorrow will therefore go unto WrestleMania 34 as RAW Women’s Champion, where she will face the winner of the inaugural women’s Royal Rumble.
