Having returned to WWE in 2012, Brock’s UFC run had transformed his in-ring style completely. His attire had been altered, his moveset was different, and the very structure of his matches had evolved. Kofi Kingston was the unlucky opponent in what was basically a chance for Lesnar to tear someone apart ahead of a WWE Title match at Battleground. This match began with a game of cat and mouse as Kofi sought to evade The Beast. Lesnar got his hands on the mouse of the piece soon enough, however, and about two minutes later it was all over.

It was a little disappointing in terms of a spectacle, since the entire show had been based on the appearance of Lesnar and yet the match ended up being so short. That didn’t make it any less of a one-sided victory for Brock, though.
