7 Most Dominant Brock Lesnar Victories
3. Big Show - Royal Rumble 2014
In the lead up to WrestleMania XXX, and with Brock Lesnar set to face The Undertaker, WWE were looking to make their main man look as legitimate as a contender as possible.
Obviously contenders don’t get much more legitimate that Brock, but either way the decision was made to have him go one-on-one with the Big Show at the 2014 Royal Rumble. Now, I’m not sure anyone really thought that we’d see Big Show defeat Lesnar in 2014, but I doubt here were many who predicted this one would be as over as quickly as it was.
Before the bell had even sounded, Lesnar took the fight to Show with a vicious steel chair assault. Often the use of a foreign object makes the perpetrator come off as a coward. I’m not sure that’s even possible with Brock though, and it only made him look even more menacing.
After that trouncing, and once the bell officially sounded, Show did connect with the KO punch and while the strike stunned him, it’s effect wasn’t too great. Less than two minutes later, he’d recovered enough to hit Show with an F5 and pick up the 1-2-3.
Not only that, but when he hoisted the giant onto his
shoulders he then proceeded to walk around the ring before tossing Show to the
mat. As far as incredible feats of strength go, they don’t get much better than
that. The post-match chair beating also made Brock look like a bad, bad man.
