To dominate an ageing Big Show is one thing, but to then do that to the WWE World Heavyweight Champion is quite another entirely.

That’s exactly what Lesnar did at Battleground 2015, though, when he challenged Seth Rollins for the title. When Triple H named Lesnar the number one contender, Rollins had been suitably petrified. Within a few moments of their Battleground match-up it was fairly easy to see why.

Though Rollins got some early kicks in, it wasn’t long before he was sailing through the air as a result of Lesnar’s suplexes. There was some respite after Seth managed to counter a German suplex with a backflip, but again he soon found himself back in Lesnar’s grasp and being tossed around at will.

JBL counted an unlucky 13 suplexes and after the exclamation point of an F5, the title seemed to be returning to Brock’s waist. Ultimately though, Rollins’ bacon was saved by a surprise appearance from the Undertaker, who tamed the beast with his new signature move, the dreaded kick to groin.

Still, as far as WWE Title matches go, the nine minutes that preceded ‘Taker’s nut shot were some of the most one-sided in the Championship’s history.
