4. Scott Steiner Is The Man

Scott Steiner doesn't like Triple H. At all. He even went as far as to call him a "c*nt" in a fire interview last year - just one of many reasons to purchase our premium bookazine 'Wrestling'. It makes sense for me to promote that. I write for it. What makes less sense...

Triple H appeared on The Tonight Show to power slam host Jimmy Fallon through a table, in order to promote a SummerSlam...an event he didn't wrestle on. Triple H, in storylines, is still a heel. But you don't get cheap pops playing the heel, no gratification, so the Triple H who turned up on network television, with its potential audience of at least 114,200,000, was the leather jacket wearing ultra-bada** vintage. The man who is rock hard. The man who likes to kick midcard Intercontinental Champions in the balls to prove that he has his own pair, despite nearly a decade and a half on top sort of doing that job already.

Steiner was...not pleased - and he proved this week that he does not require the platform of national television to cut the best promos in wrestling. He went off on Twitter in spectacular fashion, blasting Trips for nonsensically taking a spot from a new talent who could have benefitted from the mainstream exposure. If you were a lapsed Attitude Era fan - how impressed would you be if man mountain Braun Strowman rocked up in his place?

The point was moot, but not lost on Steiner - who signed off on his awesome tirade with a scathing "WWE wrestlers don't have to wait till Monday for solar eclipse...They are blocked 365 days a year by that #sonofabitch."
