5. Sweet Jesus, Stephanie Is Coming Back

The word "insane" is often stretched in this article for satirical purposes. Not so here; Einstein's definition of the word is attempting the same course of action and expecting different results. Which brings us, again and of course, to Monday Night RAW.

Corey Graves received a text message and scurried away from the commentary desk in order to relay it to General Manager Kurt Angle. Angle then read it aloud. "[I'm a] disgrace and an embarrassment to the WWE? I've besmirched my status as an Olympic gold medallist?"

The word "besmirched" triggered some sweet Commissioner Regal nostalgia, but the "disgrace and embarrassment" stuff is pure, uncut Stephanie McMahon. Which in all likelihood means we're in for a retread of Stephanie Vs. Mick Foley, a feud that only served to emasculate Foley and bore viewers to tears. For eight months. With no payoff. This week's RAW posted the second worst rating in the entire history of the programme. Does WWE really think that yet more segments dedicated to Stephanie being both insufferable and hypocritical - she has far more to do with the show's poor quality than Angle, who has nothing to do with it - are going to arrest the slide? Job evaluations should not exist in a pro wrestling show. Why does Stephanie do this?

The only rational argument left is that she derives sexual pleasure from belittling everybody around her. Does Triple H insert himself into every hot programme to compensate for his cuckolding in the bedroom?

That might explain the vicious cycle we have been living in forever.
