7 Movies WWE Writers Should Plagiarize For Bray Wyatt Next
4. Apocalypse Now
Now were getting into heavyweight Hollywood territory with Wyatt taking a cue from one of Tinseltowns most notorious creations. Marlon Brando delivered on a major level when he transformed into the demented Colonel Kurtz so it would be challenging, to say the least, to see Wyatt shave his head and don the black pyjamas. Of course, theres no doubt that playing a philosophically minded extremist cult leader is within Wyatts wheelhouse, but how different would his Kurtz gimmick be to his current one? As with every narrative, context is compulsory. Lets think of Wyatts downfall and subsequent hiatus as a parallel to Kurtz going AWOL in Nam. Who could play Willard to Wyatts Kurtz? Cena? Too obvious. Ambrose? Possibly but weve seen that feud already. How about Erick Rowan? Hes the disciple that spurned Wyatts teachings when he became a face, so how about giving Rowan the goal of turning Wyatt to the side of the light? But when Rowan comes across his old mentor, he discovers a man who has found the abyss and has stared too long into the heart of darkness. The horror... the horror...
