6. Wahoo McDaniel
WWE.comWahoo McDaniel was a very successful worker for the NWA, winning multiple titles throughout Florida, Georgia, Texas and also winning the United States Title five times, which is the second-most reigns in the title's history, behind only Ric Flair's six. Inducting McDaniel could get some crossover attention, due to his time spent in the American Football League with the Houston Oilers, Denver Broncos, New York Jets, Miami Dolphins, and before that, his career playing football for the University Of Oklahoma. We've all seen how much Vince McMahon loves any sort of mainstream media attention, no matter how small, and the induction of a former professional football player could get him what he wants. Wahoo was legendarily tough, and one of the hardest-hitting wrestlers of his time. His feud with Ric Flair in Mid-Atlantic is still fondly remembered by Flair himself, who has always professed great love and respect for McDaniel in and out of the ring. Unfortunately, Wahoo's induction would have to be posthumously, as he passed away in 2002, but it is beyond time for the man to be recognized for his career.
