4. The Miz Getting His Intercontinental Title Rematch

Standard practice in WWE is to offer an immediate rematch to a defeated champion. Routinely, wrestlers make note of this during promos, saying such a redo is written into their contracts. In effect, a dethroned champion instantly becomes the number one contender for the title they've just been beaten for.

Whilst Curt Hawkins is an option if WWE are looking for something a little different, it makes sense that The Miz will get an automatic crack at Dolph Ziggler and the WWE Intercontinental Championship. After all, Dolph saved his career by beating Miz, simultaneously taking the gold from around his waist. That's not something an arrogant heel like The Miz would stand for.

Maybe the company will want to organise that rematch for the November 8 SmackDown too, meaning Ziggler would be free to start a fresh feud with someone else in the interim. He can still face The Miz again and again, only another star would get the rub of joining the rivalry and therefore the chase for the Intercontinental Title.

If all else fails, Miz is a fine first challenger for Ziggler as champ.
