7 Potential Feuds For The Fiend After WWE SummerSlam 2019
1. Bray Wyatt
No, you haven't accidentally clicked a new article. This is perhaps The Fiend's greatest opponent of all. And the seeds for this feud between his personalities may already have been planted.
With each legend that The Fiend claims as his next victim, Bray Wyatt gets more and more apologetic for his Fiend persona. This may go beyond just justifying his violent actions on social media.
If you have seen M. Night Shyamalan's 2016 thriller Split, you may see how someone can fight against their own personalities. And with the way Bray treats his puppets (another manifestation of these split personalities) he could very well be building towards a fight with himself.
The imagery that has been shown so far with Bray hating the different versions of himself and slowly embracing his dark side parallel that plot very well. Let us not forget that Wyatt took a chainsaw to a cardboard cut out of his previous image. And now it seems he carries it with him to the ring as a reminder of what he once was.
That sequence with the chainsaw could be the moment he embraced the "split" in his personalities.
With The Fiend growing more and more vicious, Bray and his sweater collection will look to finally stop this evil force. Much like Hedwig in Split, he will try to help someone defeat his stronger alter ego. But it will be too late.
Bray has already let him in.
