7 Potential Teams For WWE's Cruiserweight Tag Division
5. The Brian Kendrick & TJ Perkins
We're leaving the domain of established tag teams now and trying our hand at the time-honoured WWE tradition of throwing a pair of random wrestlers together in the hope that they can form a half-decent two-piece.
There's logic here, though. Pairing a veteran up with a comparative rookie seems to be the done thing whenever you're in need of extra teams, a good example of this being Rhyno and Heath Slater back in 2016.
TJP, so it was confirmed last week with his quarter-final defeat to Cedric Alexander, will not be walking out of WrestleMania 34 as Cruiserweight Champion - and, with four or five wrestlers in front of him in the pecking order, it could be a while before he gets another shot.
In other words, he's a prime candidate for a move into the tag team ranks after the Showcase of the Immortals is in the bag. Kendrick, once he's back from injury, is in much the same boat, making this coming together seem like a distinct possibility.
