7 Quick Fixes To Save WWE SummerSlam 2018

1. The Monster Among Men

Braun Strowman is a monster on the edge.

He really didn't need the angle he was given for July, regardless of how many stunts the 'King of Things' got to perform against Kevin Owens. Shoulder-barging a portable toilet and chucking 'KO' off a steel cage might have made Vince McMahon p*ss his pants, but it left the 'Monster Among Men' looking like a bit of a sh*thead right when the WWE Universe needs a seven-foot saviour.

If Vince McMahon can't book the successful cash-in of a performer such as Braun, there's perhaps no hope left for him. Short of a pair of trunks that show of his legs as well as his massive arms, Strowman is everything the Chairman looks for in a Champion and actually has the people in his pocket. The bond won't last forever, but if Braun bravely uses his briefcase to insert himself into whatever moribund main event gets set for SummerSlam, he'll enhance his aura far more when he wins unlike the traditional cash-in.

Neither Bobby Lashley nor Roman Reigns are the heroes the audience want, but Strowman is the one they need. It appears as though, thankfully, Lesnar can and will be stopped. How that happens remains just as important for the future state of Raw's problematic red strap.
