7 Reasons Braun Strowman Shouldn’t Become WWE Universal Champ At No Mercy 2017

3. He Deserves A Big WrestleMania Moment

Thus far, Braun Strowman has appeared at two WrestleMania cards. At 'Mania 32, he was part of The Wyatt Family entourage which interrupted The Rock and John Cena. That small cameo was followed up by a place in the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal at 'Mania 33.

WWE neglected to book a Braun win there, although he did eliminate his fair share of other entrants despite not being the main story of the match. 2018 should be Strowman's year to shine; to see him win on the biggest stage WWE can provide feels more important than bagging a belt at No Mercy, that's for sure. He deserves it.

Booking one of the full-time crew against Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania, instead of bringing back another part-time act like Goldberg, would send a message to those who work hard all year round too. It probably won't happen, but it's a nice thought and something Strowman has earned through his own graft.
