Ziggler seems to have been on the cusp of success for approximately forever. His resume looks fantastic in the record books; two world titles, a slew of secondary titles, great matches, a Money in the Bank ladder match win and a whole lot more. The truth is that Ziggler has always been treated somewhat as an afterthought, a reliable hand.

We all know that this isn't exactly fair, and Ziggler will for sure be one of those that people look back on in years as being one of WWE's most underused talents. His world title runs were practically non-existent, and whilst Dolph challenged Dean Ambrose for the WWE World Championship at SummerSlam this year even that felt somewhat like a stop-gap challenge.

For a man of Ziggler's talents there surely comes a time when enough is enough, and one needs to walk away from the company. You can only be passed over so many times after all.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
