Dolph Ziggler signed his WWE contract way back in 2004. He made his RAW debut way back in 2005 as Kerwin White's caddy, before returning to WWE TV in January 2006 as a member of the Spirit Squad. This was also pretty short-lived, the group disbanding before the end of that year, and Dolph Ziggler finally arrived as himself in late 2008.

Since then it has pretty much been go-go-go for Ziggles, with only a couple of suspensions and concussions giving him anything approaching a break. Professional wrestling is demanding enough with WWE's rigorous schedule, so Ziggler's body must be screaming at him over ten years after his TV debut.

Everyone needs a rest, and Ziggler could very well be using this angle as a vehicle to go home with his ball for a bit.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
