The WWE has told us that the rivalry between John Cena and Randy Orton is one of the most legendary in WWE history. In some form, John Cena and Randy Orton have faced off 86 times on WWE television and on pay-per-view. These two guys are supposed to hate each other. Their bitter feud has been boiling since they both debuted out of Ohio Valley Wrestling in 2002, and while both are currently faces, there’s just too much history to believe that the two could coexist.

Orton and Cena have beaten the ever-loving crap out of each other in just about every major match type: Hell in a Cell, Elimination Chamber, Tables matches, I Quit matches, and an Iron Man match. They have done absolutely terrible things to one another inside the ring. Even in kayfabe it’s hard to see how someone goes from having some dude punt your father in the skull, to a point where you want to climb in the ring on the guy’s side.
