1. John Cena Is A Ringer
What Shane McMahon has done, is gone out and hired someone who is not on the roster to boost his team’s chances of winning. That’s the definition of poor sportsmanship though not-technically cheating. It’s basically the counting cards of competition. It’s not illegal, but there are people who will break your legs over it just the same.
So how does Mr. Hustle, Loyalty, Respect, the pinnacle of the White Knight stereotype, justify taking part in a scheme so sophisticated that Monty Burns pulled it off using Darryl Strawberry and Jose Canseco back in 1992?
The only way that this loophole can really be closed would be if Shane had locked Cena into some kind of long term SmackDown contract. As of now, there seems to have been no such agreement.
In scheduling John Cena to appear at the last minute on the Survivor Series card, WWE seems to be ignoring a great deal about his character and seriously jeopardizing any credibility John Cena had legitimately built with fans.
