3. It Has Fresh Talent

Although figures such as the Briscoe Brothers, Michael Elgin and Roderick Strong have been around in ROH for a number of years now, they are a largely unknown collective outside of the independent wrestling scene. Sudden television exposure for such under-appreciated figures will result in a refreshing feeling on unfamiliarity, something sorely needed in the wrestling industry after many years of a largely static WWE roster. Another crucial ingredient is the smattering of ex-WWE names on ROH's books. Matt Sydal (the former Evan Bourne) and ex-diva Maria Kanellis are familiar enough faces to spark interest, without hogging the limelight in the manner of Hogan, Nash, Jarrett, and countless others in TNA.
