7 Reasons Why WWE Breaking Up The Shield Was Horrible For Business

4. Sting Would've Been SO Much Cooler In The Shield

Imagine Triple H and The Authority were running roughshod over Raw last year around WrestleMania with Triple H having a handshake agreement with Paul Heyman to have The Authority support Brock Lesnar as champion. As well, imagine Sheamus, Neville and Wade Barrett as Triple H's hand-picked crew of UK thugs operating in a manner similar to The Shield. Then, imagine that at Survivor Series 2014, there was a match for control of WWE where Triple H, Sheamus, Barrett and Neville were challenged by The Shield and a *special mystery partner*. STING being the fourth member of The Shield in special Sting-style Shield gear would've been amazing. Sting's whole WCW gimmick was that he was a protector, doing literally exactly the same thing The Shield was doing. Fast forward to WrestleMania 2015 and a no-DQ lumberjack match between Sting, Rollins and Reigns (accompanied by the nWo) against Triple H, Sheamus and Barrett (accompanied by Evolution) would've been amazing. A match potentially involving Sting, Triple H, Hulk Hogan, Scott Hall, Kevin Nash, Ric Flair, Batista and Randy Orton, plus Rollins, Reigns, Sheamus and Barrett would've been outstanding (and actually had an entertaining build, too).
