5. Rusev Lost
The other competitor in need of a major win last night was Rusev. The man has all the in-ring talent in the world, and is pretty good on the mic too, yet he can't pick up that one victory he needs to propel him into the main event scene.
The feud between Rusev and Randy Orton hasn't been interesting in the slightest, but at the very least, Orton could have put the 'Bulgarian Brute' over in this match, as Rusev is in dire need of winning a feud before he becomes a complete joke. As a multiple World Champion, 'The Viper' would have been the perfect man to lose to Rusev, as it would make the Bulgarian look like a legitimate contender for either the United States title or the WWE Championship.
The big question is: where does Rusev go from here? My guess is he'll be lost in the shuffle once more.
