There can be no doubt that R-Truth is one of the most must-see parts of WWE TV these days, and yes, the year is indeed 2019. Many fans felt he peaked with his incredible heel run in 2011, but he has proven over the course of his career that he can not only change with the times but also be entertaining regardless of where he is on the card.

WWE has way too many championships as it is, so while the institution of the 24/7 title immediately following Money in the Bank probably wasn't necessary, Truth was determined to make it the most talked-about title in WWE. It wasn't long before he succeeded in doing just that, especially after he defended/lost/recaptured the gold on a golf course, an airplane, and at Drake Maverick's wedding.

The championship's concept greatly benefits Raw and SmackDown Live (as well as WWE's social media pages) because you never know what's going to happen with it next. Even 205 Live general manager Drake Maverick has played a pivotal role in its success because of how he too has taken it to an entirely new level.

The chronicles of the 24/7 Championship are insanely fun and are a breath of fresh air compared to everything else going on in the company at the moment.
