7. Triple H Is Fighting An Uphill Battle At 'Mania Again
At both WrestleMania X-8 and WrestleMania XXV, Triple H made his entrance surely knowing he had a job on his hands to top earlier matches on the card. In 2002, he had returned before the Royal Rumble, going on to win that bout to earn a shot against Chris Jericho and the WWF Undisputed Title come 'Mania. The match itself proved to be fine, but couldn't live up to Hollywood Hogan vs. The Rock just a few matches before. The same thing happened again in 2009 at 'Mania XXV. This time, 'The Game' was opposite 'The Viper', as Triple H faced Randy Orton. Earlier in the event, The Undertaker and Shawn Michaels proceeded to absolutely tear the house down, making it difficult for Orton and Triple H to succeed. Truthfully, their battle was bereft of the excitement visible in the build up. Come WrestleMania 32, Triple H and Roman Reigns will have to contend with the fact that there's a Hell In A Cell match and a Street Fight on the undercard. This is an all-too-familiar position for Triple H, who could be set to once again fail to close 'Mania in spectacular fashion. This is a worry, and doesn't bode well for the main event.
