7 Reasons WWE Must Sign Bully Ray

5. He Doesn't Have That Many Years Left As A Full Timer

If we are to assume that Bully Ray has talks with WWE, it's likely that WWE would want him to work a full time schedule or something close to that. At 43 years old, perhaps that's not something he's interested in doing anymore. Right now the TNA schedule is so limited that their wrestlers are only working for about six days per month. In WWE, if you're a full timer you're working 18-20 days per month. Would he want to take on that kind of schedule again? We don't know. At this point in his career as a veteran of wrestling for the past 23 years (he started training in 1991) he's in a position where he probably could say no to WWE's offer if he didn't like it. His position in TNA is strong right now since he's a main event performer that has a lot of influence in the direction of the company and also works as a backstage agent. There's no way WWE would give him that kind of power if he went there although what WWE can offer is a bigger audience and much more opportunity. What Ray has to do is ask himself if he even wants to work that WWE schedule again. The pay between the two sides would likely be comparable although since TNA is cutting back a lot maybe they don't have a lot to offer him. If that's the case then a WWE return seems likely. The only thing is we don't know if WWE is interested at all. If he was ten years younger it seems like a no brainer that WWE would sign him. However, as a guy in his early 40s his age is definitely a major factor to consider. If WWE wants to bring him back, it has to be soon because otherwise it would be too late.
