7 Reasons WWE Won't Bring Kurt Angle Back

3. He Turns 46 Years Old In December

TNA.comTNA.comAge is a factor. A big one. When Angle started in WWE 15 years ago he was a 29 year old with a very bright future. He was pretty old for somebody that was a rookie in the biggest wrestling company in the world. Within a few years he was regarded as arguably the best professional wrestler in the world. It was amazing how he became so good so fast, but that's a testament to him as a performer. He was special. Over the last 15 years, Angle has continued to prove that how great he is. Even in his early 40s in TNA he's still been one of the best in-ring performers in the world. There have been times when he looked like he was too big because he couldn't work out like he used to or he was dealing with injuries that slowed him down. Most wrestlers are done in WWE in their early to mid 40s. There are exceptions like Ric Flair, who wrestled until he was nearly 60, but in general you don't see guys in their mid-40s in a WWE ring. Maybe Angle will be an exception. Maybe not.
