Whether you choose to accept it or not, Roman Reigns has been showing signs of improvement since he was first thrust into the main event a little over a year ago at the Royal Rumble. He still has a way to go, don't get me wrong, but he is getting there. His booking, through no fault of his own, has been atrocious as of late - can you believe WWE mainly had him hide backstage throughout the majority of the Rumble this year? Before that, he was winning fans over. Pitting him against the two most popular babyfaces in WWE for a spot at WrestleMania will also do him no favours. One of the babyfaces Reigns will be going up against is Brock Lesnar. The Beast is always lurking around the title scene and could legitimately take the title off of anyone at anytime. A lot of fans complain about his part-time schedule but it can't be denied that it adds to his allure. It makes his appearances feel like actual, big time main events, and things people want to pay money to see. He's a truly one-of-a-kind monster the likes of which we've never seen before. There is one man that's not afraid of big Brock Lesnar, though... Dean Ambrose is the proverbial third wheel in the main event at Fastlane. The star has come oh so close to winning the elusive WWE Title over and over again only to find himself coming up just a little bit short. That hasn't stopped the fans from getting behind The Lunatic Fringe, however, as he's really the fans' chosen champion at this point. No matter who walks away the victor at Fastlane, Triple H will be waiting for them. While The Cerebral Assassin has lost a step or two, he's still the best heel in the business and will be able to provide a marquee match at WrestleMania. Two main event faces, two main event heels, and many more knocking on the door will all lead to some great battles over the richest prize in the game in the weeks and months to come.
