3. Pamela Anderson's Star Power Was A Welcome Addition

Any time you can get one of the hottest actresses in the world on the show it's something that should be considered especially when business was down. When WWE announced that Pamela Anderson would be at the Royal Rumble it generated a lot of interest because...well...look at her. She was one of the most beautiful actresses in the world that really wasn't that good of an actress. Pamela was known mostly for her role on the 1990s TV show Baywatch, which was popular all over the world in part because of her scenes as CJ Parker. At the start of the show, Pamela arrived in a limo and all the superstars were excited to see her backstage. Prior to the Rumble main event, she made her way down to the ring as the "special guest hostess" and actually got one of the biggest ovations of the night. She sat ringside to watch the Rumble match. When the Rumble match was over, Pam went into the ring and stood there while Shawn Michaels posed. She didn't say anything or do anything exciting, but her presence certainly made the Rumble look better.
