1. Roderick Strong Joins The Undisputed ERA

Much of the build-up to the match centred around whether or not Roderick Strong was going to join his former ROH colleagues in their new faction. Roddy was offered an Undisputed ERA armband and seemingly accepted, before deciding instead to attack Cole, O’Reilly and Fish. Strong has subsequently formed a peculiar team with former NXT Tag Team Champions, The Authors of Pain.

It won’t make much sense in the context of a three team cage match, but Roderick Strong must join The Undisputed ERA. NXT could even go the unusual route of having the turn happen long before the finish, as Strong elects to make it four-on-three-on-two, as opposed to a triple threat of trios.

Roderick Strong must join The Undisputed ERA, and NXT will have a Four Horseman for the new era on its hands. The title belts will come in future, before the temptation of the NXT Championship becomes too strong for Roddy. Adam Cole vs. Roderick Strong could easily be an NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn IV main event, and the seeds of that battle must be sown in Houston on Saturday night.
