7 Things That Must Happen At WWE Night Of Champions

5. Kevin Owens Must Win The Intercontinental Title

I've written about this at length already (follow this link for the full article), but the point really can't be hammered home enough. For the good of the company, the belt, the two individuals in the match and the entire WWE Universe, Kevin Owens must defeat Ryback for the Intercontinental Title this coming Sunday.

Why? Well, Ryback's run with the belt has been a blowout to say the least. I like Ryback, more than I ever thought I would, but he is not the man to build a credible midcard division around. Kevin Owens is seemingly tailor-made for that role, and will prove to be one of the finest IC champions in recent memory, mark my words.

Saying that, part of me prays that Owens doesn't win the belt. We all know that the Intercontinental Title is cursed, as seen by every time Wade Barrett has held it and the various injuries to the champions this year. If Owens takes home the title on Sunday, who knows what damage could be done to his career.

Or maybe KO is the man to remove the curse of the IC belt, and restore it to its former glories. This has to happen.
