Admit it, you palmed your forehead too when it was announced the first match in the 'Best Of 7 Series' between Sheamus and Cesaro would take place during the Kickoff show at SummerSlam 2016. What were WWE thinking!? These super workers surely deserved a place on the main card above crap like The Miz vs. Apollo Crews.

Apparently not. The future tag partners had to settle for the pre-show, but that only made them even more determined to prove WWE wrong. Cesaro conceded to Jericho that both guys had huge chips on their shoulders come show time and felt like they had to have the best match of the night. That's why Cesaro took big risks like performing a cross body off those fancy, new (and massive) ring posts.

The 'Best Of 7' idea wasn't starting off the way either man wanted. Not even on the biggest pay-per-view of the Summer, their rivalry had been relegated to warm up territory and that wouldn't do. It's tragic that there will still be some fans who have never seen this match because they don't watch the Kickoff shows.
