7 Things We Learned From WWE's CWC Bracketology Show

3. Some Incredible Stories

There are so many compelling stories already being told in the CWC—and some of them are very real indeed.

Even if you’re not a fan of wresting, hearing Rich Swann recount how he became an orphan at the age of 16 makes it impossible not to root for this man. And TJ Perkins’ rags-to-riches tale from homelessness to the WWE is a similarly uplifting story. Not even the most cold-hearted of cynics would be able to turn a blind eye here. I hope.

But on a lighter note—in kayfabe, as well, there are further seeds being sewn as we count down to the tournament’s kick-off.

Jonny Gargano vs. Tomasso Ciampa was hyped better than most WWE pay-per-view bouts, while a sibling rivalry was also teased between Harv and Gurv Sihra. And jeez, Brian Kendrick was pulling on all of the heart strings; “when I had the world in my hands I let it slip through my fingers because I was patting myself on the back” may have been the quote of the entire night.

Long story short—if you’re not invested in the CWC in some way then you should probably check your pulse.
