7 Things WWE Fans Complain About Too Much

6. Wrestlers Using Performance Enhancing Drugs

There's always been a stigma about wrestlers being these steroid using muscle heads that aren't good athletes and are only doing what they do because they have big muscles. It's not true, but that's the perception of a lot of people. A lot of fans will argue about steroid use in wrestling, particularly WWE, because we've grown up being told "steroids = bad" since they're banned in sports. The thing is, wrestling isn't sport. It's a form of scripted entertainment. They can say it's "sports entertainment" all they want and the athletes deserve credit for being where they are, but if a wrestler uses steroids it's not a big deal. Think of it like an actor using steroids. Sylvester Stallone, Arnold Schwarzenegger and others have been using them for their films. Does anybody care? Not really. Nor should we. They're actors. Wrestlers are too. Hulk Hogan used steroids? Of course he did. He even admitted it even though he was criticized for doing so. It doesn't tarnish his image. It helped him in his career. We should care when people abuse drugs or alcohol to the point that it puts their life in jeopardy, but complaining about a steroid user in wrestling is pretty pointless. Also if you think WWE's roster has no PED users right now you're naive about it.
